Crunching the numbers

Micah and I had a long chat today about finances.  We both have students loans and recently I've been paying a little, tiny bit of my paycheck toward paying mine off.   Well, today we got serious and decided to get these loans paid off more quickly.   We don't even have to start paying these babies off until we're out of school, but we wanted to start early to avoid interest. AND we want to be debt-free by medical school.
Being the math geek that I am, I just spent a good 2 hours of my normal reading time making up 3 different loan repayment plans. Tomorrow we'll choose which one we want to follow.

Micah, though asleep, was thinking about finances as well.  He mumbled something like "Let's split it to get the money." I told him it was a good idea, to which he responded, "I know. It means more money." 

I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one thinking about money at 11pm.  Micah is such a good husband--he supports me in everything.
